Accommodation in Akureyri 

 

Below is a list of accommodation in Akureyri that has been reserved by the organizers. The  reservation is only for  the period of the conference days (Arrival date: June 21. Departure date: June 27). 

 

We kindly urge you to register and book your accommodation right away if you have not already done so.  By the middle of May we have to start releasing hotel and guesthouse rooms to the general public, and therefore after that date you may not be able to secure the accommodation of your first choice.


NB! Bookings must be made through the online registration on the Akureyri Travel Registration page.

The hotel is conveniently located at the top of the hill (between the Botanical Garden and the swimming pool) in one modern building and another older one. Though a student residence for most of the year, the Hotel Edda Akureyri operates as a hotel between 14th June and 27th August, offering comfortable, spacious, clean accommodation at reasonable rates within walking distance of the centre of town.
