Northern Notes is the newsletter of the International Arctic Social Sciences Association, IASSA. The sixth Arctic Frontiers Conference Energies of the High North will be held in Tromsø, Norway 22-27 January 2012. Arctic Frontiers 2012 will discuss the global energy outlook, and assess the potentioal of traditonal and renewable energy resources in the North.

Arctic Frontiers is composed of a policy section and a scientific section. See here call for papers and abstract submission form in the scientific section. Deadline for abstract submission is 24 October 2011.
